Our Story

Jordan Elli — In the Blood
For Jordan Scott, founder and creative director of Jordan Elli, the art of tailoring and the beauty of wool are not simply passions they are heirlooms. Woven into her very bloodline is a legacy of craftsmanship, English refinement, and rural authenticity that now shapes every garment bearing the Jordan Elli name.
From her father; a co-owner of Wool Marketing Marlborough and a respected wool judge renowned for his discerning eye, Jordan inherited an instinctive reverence for the world’s finest natural fibre. Wool was more than a material in her childhood; it was a language, a livelihood, and a way of life.
That same thread runs back generations. Her great-grandmother, proudly English, carried with her the timeless sensibilities of heritage tailoring and countryside elegance. Her grandmother, a gifted seamstress, spent her days in a sunlit sewing room above her garage, a magical atelier filled with fabrics, buttons, and an orchestra of sewing machines, creating wedding gowns and tailored pieces. Jordan’s mother, too, is a talented sewer with an intuitive eye for fabric and form, passing down a love for texture, drape, and detail.
So it was only natural that Jordan a passionate horsewoman and rural soul would one day unite these threads. Out of wool, heritage, and equestrian spirit, Jordan Elli was born: a modern luxury label celebrating rural elegance, English tailoring, and timeless sophistication. Each coat and blazer is a homage to the generations before her a tribute to the land, the loom, and the lineage.
Jordan Elli exists for the woman who carries tradition with strength, who dresses with quiet confidence, and who knows that true style is something you wear with quiet passion.
